Job Summary

This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring that all proposals are compelling, compliant, and delivered on time.
The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the bid process from initial opportunity identification through to contract award.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including business development, technical, legal/compliance, finance, and operations) to gather necessary information and inputs for bid submissions.
• Write, edit, and review bid content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
• Manage the production and delivery of high-quality bid documents, presentations, and proposals.
• Conduct thorough analysis of bid requirements, evaluation criteria, and competitive landscape.
• Ensure all bids are compliant with internal governance processes and external regulations.
• Maintain a bid library and repository of standard content, templates, and best practices.
• Track and report on bid progress, success rates, and key performance indicators.
• Continuously improve bid processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with department heads (GI and EB) across multiple territories and maintain bid strategies that align with the company’s prospect and target lists.

• Education/ Certifications Minimum of Diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Practical/Technical Experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer Skills MS Office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Adobe InDesign.
